Hypocrite Kay Bailey Hutchison Tries to Block Net Neutrality

The telcos have snarled at Kay and jerked her fake conservative chain, "Stop that freedom bill! We want to take over the universe," I imagine they yelled.

Searching for justification to be against freedom legislation, she came up with a good one, "We must tread lightly when it comes to regulations," she lied.

This is from a militantly pro-PATRIOT act Bush clone! What a laugh! It's too bad for her that we have the free internet, it's getting harder and harder to be a chronic lying hypocrite.

Why are new government regulations on a largely unregulated* and unbroken shrine of free market capitalism a good idea? And since when do new government regulations get the label "freedom bill"?

* A relative assessment, of course... and that refers to the Internet, not the telcos, who are already regulated to the hilt and have been for decades.
