So I was looking over my movie collection the other day and something occurred to me -- almost all the films I own have something to do with freedom, revolution or enlightenment. I'll list a few of mine here and am hoping ya'll want to follow suit so I can check out what I've been missing :-)

Office Space
Boondock Saints
Network
Waking Life
The Matrix
V for Vendetta
The Truman Show

Why does everyone forget Braveheart?

Thats one of the best movies about freedom ever made.

It makes me very happy to know that you have Waking Life, too. Hell yeah! It's definitely one of my favorites. :D

Braveheart, of course would work. "Freedom!!!"

I think that Princess Mononoke would work, also (my favorite movie in the world). Maybe not so much as a movie explicitly about "freedom" (though, of course, it does fit), but I definitely think it works as a story about the sort of struggle the Freedom Movement is having to deal with and work through as we speak (the movie is a bounty of metaphors--and far beyond the stereotype of "anime," into the realm of art and mythology).
