I've order two magnetic signs and I'm going to be a driving billboard. Can you imagine if people all over the US did this with their cars/trucks? What a statement it would make. Can you imagine ANYONE doing it for Rudy or Hilliary? Not a chance.

LOL: I've certianly never considered anything like this before! But, I'm commited to doing whatever I can to get the word out. So, I've taken two of the sign designs posted in "files" at our Ronpaul.meetup.com/43/ - site (click on files in the left hand column to see choices - and pick one "sized for magnetic sign".

I used: (see below)

1) Restore the Constitution - sized 12" x 18"
2) Who is Ron Paul - sized 12" x 18"

And, I've ordered them in magnetic signs for my vehicle. The stock sizes you can get these signs in are fairly limited; that's why I re-did the signs to resize to 12" x 18" and added a little for the fact they round the corners when the cut them.

At this size the signs cost just under $40 each. Expensive, but I thought..it's probably a pretty cheap, large, moving advertisment for RP. There are, no doubt, other places to buy these types of things, but this place looked pretty easy to deal with. You just download your choice of design to them...and shipping is free.

Here's where I ordered the signs from:

I found a supplier online to provide blank white window cling vinyl....you can spray paint the rEVOLution graphic using your stencil template.

Just love this idea! I'm wondering if my state has any laws about blocking view of rear window though. I need to find out.

How are you guys adding pictures to the post? I would like to add a pic of my car.

I'm using the window markers that all the sports fans use. I think you can still use these in states where you have to have your rear view unobstructed cause it doesn't block out the whole window.

Click on the mountain in the toolbar on the other side of the (bold, italics, underline) option. It'll give you a think to put the link of the photo in.

Looking forward to seeing your car! :)

What if the pic is on my computer, not on a webpage?

How easy would it be for people to rip the magnets off? Would you have to take them off every time you leave your car?

This may be a cheaper alternative (http://www.flickr.com/photos/8189858@N06/show/), especially when you do it in groups.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do this (hope to be able to learn this weekend). I think basically buy a couple of supplies, print out the design, stick it onto a board, cut out the design, buy some window markers (or tempura paints), stick the stencil on your car window, and start painting. We have a meetup meeting Tuesday, and I hope to be able to bring a couple of finalized stencils and some window markers, and get as many cars painted up as possible.

Does that stuff wash off when it rains?

I think it depends on what paint you use. The ones I'm looking at only wash off with window cleaner, not just with water.

I've done magnet stuff on my car for previous campaigns and most people are respective of it. I also put a ton of bumper stickers to a magnet roll so people who want one can have one (please steal one :) ).

I've got a slew of bumper stickers from the campaign coming too and so much empty space to fill.

Be warned though, people are GOING to look at you. It's quite funny actually.

I think that he is still stuck in IL....
In NH don't forget the straw poll at the CNHT picnic on July 7th.

We are hoping for a large Ron Paul supporter turnout.

If you have a printer and can do it youself, it will cost you less than $4 per sign. You can get the sheets www.printlabmedia.com

For $10 they'll print it for me? That's awesome, because my printer isn't very good.

I'm having loads of fun cruising Spartanburg S.C. with these signs.
The 12x24 magnetics on my truck $55.00 a set including shipping.
The Billboard sign is more but you can build your own frame.
Lew Moore was in Greenville S.C. last night for several of our meetup groups.
