What prison is he in? Couldn't find it on the blog site...somewhere in Las Vegas it seems.

Sounds like they are treating him like a dangerous murderer rather than someone for non-payment of income tax.
Wonder what kind of treatment Bernie is getting?? I bet its better than that.

There are no active federal prisons in Las Vegas. See http://www.bop.gov/locations/locationmap.jsp

Schiff is being held in Terra Haute -- http://tr.im/zbmb

I'd like to go visit him sometime, if he talks to visitors. I know they moved him away from his family...

For those of you that think that Schiff is a some kind of folk hero or genius, I offer this:
My best friend has followed the advice and teachings of Mr. Schiff for years now. Yesterday, his wife called me in tears. The IRS has "caught up" with them and wants back taxes, penalties and interest back to 1998. My friend and his wife are great people. Other than following bad advice by a guy trying to get over on the system, they have never done anything wrong in their lives. Now their lives are about to change (for the worse) forever. Thanks alot you miserable old con artist. You deserve to spend the rest of your life in jail! How many other lives have you ruined?

A comment in his blogspot, LMFAO. Boooooohooooooo. Just like the people who blame the sub prime lenders, not the idiots who took them.

Schiff knew what he was getting into, and if you are going to tax resist, you have to accept the possibility that you will go to jail.

What would they do if a million people showed up to bail him out? What would they do if 50 Million refused to pay the income tax?
