Yes, good book and quick read. It gets too religious for my liking at times but I would definitely recommend it.

I was speaking at a Constitution Class the other day here in TN and they all had copies of this book. I think they are going to study it as a group.

a most curious book with its elongated civilized timeframe!

I read it - it's great but it's unfortunate that in a few parts of the book it basically alludes to what he defines as intolerant sexual acts and such that bring in religion and homosexual issues. It's too bad because I'd love to recommend it to so many people because there's a lot of great information in it, but I'm afraid it would detract from my lefty friends that would probably have it discredit the message. I'm a believer myself but I'm much more liberal with my views - and in the era it was written it doesn't distract from the message for me - but I think it might for others. That being said, I learned a lot from the book and that's only a minor part of the book. Great read!
