Some of us had sepculated that Glenn Beck would chicken out following neocon pressure when he tried to expose next Obama czar after Van Jones ( http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=210530&page=2 ), but looks like team Beck, WND, current tea party movement are not going to be rolled over by neocons and are going after after czars of all skin colors:

Next Glenn Beck show should be fun as he exposes this next target.

It is so obvious that people do not want "fairness" in their media. They want to hear their side and expand their current philosophy already. Hence why I doubt a socialist would LOVE MSNBC. It is ridiculous to suppose everyone who watches the news is undecided. In fact, I would bet the vast majority of people decide where they stand right at the get-go. Anybody with half a spine does on the big issues at least. Think talk radio. People prefer Limbaugh, hannity, and Beck because they already have those ideals and want to hear their side. So I think the whole concept, forgetting its obvious assault on free speech, makes little sense anyway. But the losers will always try to work things in their favor and the Dems, no matter their position in Congress or the Oval Office continue to lose in the media. And that absolutely cannot happen. They must control EVERYTHING!

President Obama's newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, drew up a "First Amendment New Deal," a new "Fairness Doctrine" that would include the establishment of a panel of "nonpartisan experts" to ensure "diversity of view" on the airwaves, WND has learned

Fairness on the airwaves. I guess this would include fairness for Communists, Libertarians, Fascists, Monarchists, Anarchists, & Conservatives, right? How is it fair to only have Neo-Conservatives (Liberal-Republicans) & Liberals on the airwaves? Don't Monarchists & Fascists have rights too?

If the Liberals seriously believe they are underrepresented in the media (LOL) then they should all become shortwave radio broadcasters & internet radio hosts. Wouldn't that solve the problem? It's not like AM, FM, & Television is the ONLY forms of media.

And does this mean Conservatives & Libertarians will HAVE to have a Right-wing viewpoint in Liberal newspapers?

Does it surprise anyone that this only includes the radio, and not television? Don't liberals basically own television, too, wheras "conservatives" control the radio? And isn't it just liberals who support such an act -- an act that would enforce "fairness" only on the radio?

What are you talking about? Just today I saw Disney kids stars signing about how they "won an election"

I am sure they were talking about getting Bush elected in 2004.

All media is going to be transmitted over the internet within 10 years anyway. Even "radio" will probably move to the cell phone ISP technology. What are we going to do with all that spectrum is the question. Don't let them take over the internet. Don't let AT&T and Comcast be gatekeepers. Keep the internet FREE.
