Gubmint came and took their kids for a month

That's crazy.
Those people did nothing wrong and suffered because others see something that isn't there.

On Walmart's side, they are afraid of potential legal consequences if they were accused of printing child pornography. They also won't print photos that look potentially "copywrited" so if your pics look too good they may not do that 8x10 for you.
I think the biggest over-reaction in this case was by the police. Without actually seeing them, it is doubtful that the pics were "overtly sexual" or indicated any abuse of the children. If WalMart wants to institute a "no nude pictures" for people of any age- that is their right. It does not sound right that the cops took the kids away over it.

I don't blame Walmart for their reaction. I mean they weren't sure if a crime was committed so that's why they called the police. The authorities though, shouldn't have taken it so far. I mean, I don't understand the ritual of taking pictures of your children taking a bath, but if giving them a bath wasn't a crime I don't see how photographing it could be a crime.

Who would have thought that my God fearing, seemingly upstanding, parents were actually sexual perverts. There is just something inherently wrong in those photos of me and my cousin at age 8 in the bath with all those bubbles. /sarcasm:mad:

Sue Walmart and the creeper they hired that got a sexual high off these pictures.

The sex pervert myth is another way to distract people from really changing things.

People have been sensitized to this by lurid cases publicised in the media. Congress passed a B.S. bill to make us think they are protecting us, but all it does is waste money.

If they keep enough imaginary shit flying they think we won't notice we are standing knee deep in the real thing.

Nudity does not = porn.

That sums it up. A fine line with children as they probably wouldn't do seductive poses, but definitely a line. Playboy is pornography, stretching the word "porn" just a bit. It features women usually in sexually enticing positions. A child in a tub is just a naked body. If the kid was pulling at his genitals or something, maybe that could be a case in liberal interpretations . But there is still no sexual act or suggestive meaning. It is a kid taking a goddamn bath and playing with his balls like every other kid does. Are we to say every movie with a person in a tub is pornography? The Truman Show sure was a sleezy movie though. :p

Would Walmart consider themselves peddlers of child porn?

I dont know if it's true but I remember this story about a Finnish family living in the States. They had built a sauna in their yard and of course the whole family went in there nude (which is the custom) and then their neighbor saw this and called the cops.
I cant remember for sure but I guess they got charged for child molestation or something.

Filthy degenerates projecting their own perversions on good parents. If anyone thinks there is anything remotely sexual about it then they have the problem

Nudity does not = porn.

Americans are so afraid of nudity, I mean, even in family photos of children. Its hysterical.

Yes nudity is nothing in some European countries, but their not free to take their culture with them when they move to America.

well, my mother took pictures of me naked when I got out of the bath once. I think I was 8 or 9, and my cousin was with me at the time. We were scrambling all over to get our clothes on, it was all in fun. My cousins mother was laughing, so was my mom. What happened to that picture I don't know, but I do know if Walmart seen it my parents would be in jail. Yes eduardo, it is utterly ridiculous.

This was my beach towel the first 10 years of my life. I'd forgotten about it until just now....Thanks ;)

BTW, everyone in my family has naked baby pictures. In the tub, outta the tub.

I thought that was par for the course. And something to show your girlfriend or boyfriend when you get older. :)
