It makes me ashamed that I was for the first Iraq War, I sat and watched the bombs on CNN and was proud of how we could kill people without endangering our men, and that we could get the bad guys that "invaded Kuwait".

I should have known better. What can we do to make amends for millions killed in the name of American Empire? Even though we were lied to, somehow I feel that my spirit will always bear a burden of supporting an unjust war.
