If we keep on donating we can see Ron Paul smash through the nomination and then become President of the USA!

But we must keep on donating!

Ron Paul Wins NJ Republican Straw Poll in a Landslide (http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/015724.html)

Thanks to Max Raskin for phoning in the news that Ron won the important NJ Straw Poll with 72%.

Adds Garry Cobb: "This vote was in North Jersey, which is supposedly Rudy's territory given its proximity to New York. I believe he received only a few votes.

"On a side note, Rudy's speaker (Bill Spadea, who is a great speaker, by the way), in an attempt to sell his candidate, brought up the fact that Rudy had people in NYC arrested for jaywalking.... and then defended the policy! Interestingly enough, Mr. Spadea admitted that he admires Ron Paul and that his own father will probably be voting for the Dr. Paul."

Ghouliani has mafia ties himself

yeah, and he also went after them for political points.. so his own people (Italians) don't even like him. mafia isn't really looked down upon that badly in the Italian community

I also heard that the Romney spokesperson told people *HE* was going to vote for Ron Paul himself as well.. This is too much... "Yeah Romney pays me to speak here, but Im going to vote for Ron Paul..."

Some NJ conservative group claims it was around 100 votes.

All the details are here along with some good comments

We went there to campaign but there was nobody to campaign to - everyone was a Ron Paul supporter !

Murray Sabrin (a libertarian/republican who ran for governor of NJ in 1997) did an excellent job of representing Ron Paul.

I feel sorry for the other campaigns and they come to these straw polls and have to talk to a bunch of RP supporters. :)

What kind of straw poll was this? I wonder, because....

Although this is not an official GOP straw poll lets take this opportunity to “Turn Lemons into Lemonade” by having all Ron Paul New Jersey supporters in one place this weekend giving us a chance to network.

In case you didn't get a chance to go, there is a video recording
Dr. Murray Sabrin's presentation I taped at the Presidential Candidates
Forum/Straw Poll yesterday. Please make sure to rate the video,
leave a comment and repost to your individual county and city meetups.

Thanks,

Jack

If you haven't seen the video of Guilliani receiving a call at the NRA it's here,
there is a reference to it at the beginning:

He pulled the same stunt at another event, it's funny Romney and Rudy try to
be clever but they end up looking like asses:

This is a very important move for us. The work is just starting but apparently paying dividends already. I know I sound like a broken record but if we can get 7,000 new student/young people votes at the Caucus, victory is possible.

looking for official quantity and quality numbers of this poll....

100 people just doesn't seem too impressive enough to call it a "landslide".
