I am making a handout about the military supporting Dr. Paul.

Does anyone have a high resolution photo of RP in uniform. The only ones I find are not very good.

No- I've been looking for one forever for MilitaryForPaul.com

Your best bet is to enlarge the current one.

I pulled an all-nighter to study last night, and I had the TV on in the background. It was on MSNBC and at some point in the early morning a "talking head" style news show came on. The host was discussing John McCain's new ad with some lady from his campaign or something, and she said that John McCain was the only candidate who has served in the military! The host just seemed to go along with it and agree.

Did anyone else catch that or was I just delirious from lack of sleep?

No Swan, the same has been said of McCain before on TV. He certainly saw more combat action than Paul, but that doesn't justify saying McCain was the only one in the military.

Actually, Paul went to Iran. He went to South Korea. He went to Turkey. He went to Ethiopia.

He was a flight surgeon that attended to the medical problems of Air Force pilots. He definitely saw combat, and as a Medical Doctor helped pilots tremendously.

John McCain just has a tendency to bring up his veteran status everywhere he goes for political benefit.

That's the best one I could find.

Maybe you can email paul to create a photo album with all the uniformed pictures of him on the internet. (they might not have many anyway though)

You can always send an email to Carol Paul at carol@ronpaul2008.com or through her Myspace page and ask her if she will email you some high resolution military pics of the doc.

If you do that though, please, please put them in the Campaign Literature section of this forum, so everyone can grab them. We don't want to have a ton of people going and asking her for the same things over and over.

According to: http://www.whoserved.com/08Race.asp (http://www.whoserved.com/08Race.asp)

Duncan Hunter and John McCain are the only candidates who saw combat.
Ron Paul, Christopher Dodd, and Mike Gravel served in the military, but did not see combat.
