I am up way too late after anchoring the Sunday night news. Late enough to start perusing the Monday papers.
The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/13/AR2009091303258.html) writes about Congressman Ron Paul's money machine. While the Texas Congressman's runs for president have been unsuccesful, his fundraising model might have the largest impact in Kentucky, where his son is taking on the GOP establishment.
The sums of money that Paul-ites have donated to Senate candidates in Connecticut and Kentucky are impressive and suggest that the Ron Paul Revolution -- such as it is -- may not be over.
The Rand Paul website reports $827,000 in campaign donations to date, ahead of a Sept. 23 "moneybomb."
