It was black during the campaign, became quickly gray after he was in office, and now it black again as he heads back out to push his universal healthcare.

Someone trying to look young and spry for the crowds?

It seems like anyone who becomes president, they start going grey immediately.

What a shitty job it's got to be.

The Presidency has apparently become a vanity position for some idiotic Americans. It's been assumed forever that Nixon lost in 1960 because of his facial stubble in a televised debate.

Does anyone think the vein America public would elect an overweight, bald and/or bearded man today? William Taft is lucky he ran in a time when people cared about issues instead of looks; I doubt he could ever win the White House today.

I read somewhere that he has always had the gray hair. He dyed it black during his campaign. He supposedly quit dying it after he got into office. Idk if that's true though.

Yep, I noticed it last night when I saw some footage of BO's latest campaign stop, I think it was Minnesota?

That makes the most sense. You don't go gray that quickly, and he was under an awful lot of stress during two years of campaigning already.

And now it looks like he's back to the dye job.

At least he is focused on the right area. Just needs to go a little deeper now.

I think they realised how redicolous it looked for a relatively young man like Obama to have gray hair and they changed it back. Their PR-guys probably found that grey hair makes the president seem more wise and in charge or something.
