All might want to take a look at this time lapse video of the crowd. One person said it went on for one and one half hours on another site.

I just now noticed ,in looking at it again, it looks like another crowd was coming off another street in between the two big buildings on the right and merging into the other street. Look at it a couple of times.

One more thought. That camera was a time lapse camera that took a picture every two minutes, so the hour and one half would be right in the ball park at 39 seconds.
