Awwww. How nice of them.

How could the home of Barbara Walters and Oprah ever stand to let him go?

aw, I'll miss John Stossel.

Though..the idea of Stossel having a Libertarian show on Fox..gets me really excited.

He's up there with the Judge :D.

That was nice. I grew up with 20/20. It's the end of an era with that show. I'll give ABC the benefit of the doubt but let's just say Stossel knows where the bodies are buried and could have made a stink on the way out ;)

Now John can tell which stories were the ones he wasn't allowed to air. He's said several times that he wouldn't say until he was with a different company.

After just watching Geraldo's show where he called Joe Wilson a racist, I think it would be a great idea for John Stossel to take Geraldo's position at FOX.

You know... maybe this is the "conspiracy" in me but... Doesn't it seem like Fox is consolidating all the libertarian leaning voices out there to their network? I mean a TON of people HATE Fox news and won't watch it. However, they will watch something like ABC. Now a fairly liberal news outlet just lost a great libertarian leaning journalist. I feel sad that a lot of people are now not going to get that point of view any longer on ABC. I mean really he isn't going to be replace with another libertarian. :(

I don't understand this. Fox sounds the drums of war every hour and this is where he is going???

it sounds like fox is banking on libertarianism to be the next big profit maker for them.

so be it. Works for us.. and since most republicans watch fox itll help in the information war

Too bad CNN didn't "go libertarian" and hire Stossel.

It would have been a great move. Fox already has republicans and MSNBC has democrats.

CNN should have gone libertarian. They should have kept Glenn Beck and hired Stossel and given them back to back shows on CNN's main channel.

Maybe because it is the unofficial opposition media outfit? If he wanted to be on TV, it isn't like he had a better option. A neo-con network that tolerates a few anti-war folks fooling around is a lot better than a socialist network that can't handle dissent.
