Bring SMALL plant spray bottles with water to cool off

DO NOT BRING WATER PISTOLS OR ANYTHING LIKE IT (remember where you are)

Bring extra water

Wear loose clothes and a hat or have something to cover your head from the sun
(I have used a wet washcloth in the desert)

Use sun blocking skin crème and lip balm

The government was created w/ checks and balances between the three branches.
The check for balance inherent in the people IS the second amendment.
Of course even symbolism would be discouraged. In my lifetime I have seen a rural town grow to a city. A citizenry, which once hunted and carried rifles in the back of their pick-ups has become one that shuns guns and those that carry them and defends themselves w/ an on-star in their Beemers.
I remember when we would take our hunting rifles in our cars to school. Those days are long past.
