To open a bank account, yes. You have had to show ID to open a bank account since the patriot act.

Well I believe it lists (3) forms of identification:

(1) SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARD OR REAL ID ACT IDENTIFICATION-

(A) A social security card accompanied by a photo identification card issued by the Federal Government or a State Government; or

(B) a driver's license or identification card issued by a State in the case of a State that is in compliance with title II of the REAL ID Act of 2005 (title II of division B of Public Law 109-13; 49 U.S.C. 30301 note).

Regardless, this is completely unconstitutional.........wait we own the banks now right? So we can dictate policy to them...

A photo id is not needed. Only proof of identity...birth certificate and utility bill will do.

Lol

Wrong question.

Is this a violation of your God Given natural rights?

I think that's what this law tries to change.

Well that is an obvious given.
