2 days ago it was almost $90, yesterday is was 88.5, and today it is 87.90.

That probably means we are getting more first time donors, since the numbers keep climbing. The myspace campaign is a part of this I think.

Schaumburg, IL seems to be an epicenter of donations!

It doesn't really matter what the donation average is. As long as the donations come in at a good pace. Example: If you have 100 donations at an average of $1000 over the course of a day. That is equal to $100,000 in a day. Now image 5000 donations at an average of $87. That equals $435,000 in that same day. It doesn't matter what the average is. It matters how fast they come in.

Did you guys see that one from "Arlo Guthrie"? I hope no one is fooling with us.

I'd feel even better about 1,000 donations of $10 than 100 donations of $100--it's a show of force *and* just as much money is raised.

Location? A quick check of Wikipedia would verify whether this is the real one.

Average donation amount is not important.

Depending on how you want to interpret the data, you could spin it as the lower the number the better since it represents a higher % of the population.

I could spin the average donation either way.

The total $ amount is the only number of consequence to the campaign.

I wonder if we can see how many donations we have had from the start of Q2 to the end of Q3 using confirmation numbers. Then times that by like 85 and get an estimate of how much they earned online.
