The 10 Who Blew The Recession (Says Ron Paul Mistakenly Embraced the Crazies)

As an early critic of the Fed and the dangers of loose money, Ron Paul could have emerged as a mainstream thought leader in the debate over how to reform the financial system. Unfortunately, Paul was never able to shake off the crazies -- indeed he embraced them -- and is instead synonymous with gold bugs, conspiracy enthusiasts and protesters who bring guns to Presidential rallies.

In defense of Ron Paul, the Republicans were at fault for rejecting him:

1.) His anti-War stance made the Republican Neocons hate him. Right now Neocons control the party.

2.) Called 9/11 Blowback for bad Foreign Policy.

3.) The media would have found something to criticize him about... he threatens the establishment.

Never were those things you mentioned above shown more clearly than at this debate a few years ago:

And the people who first exiled him from the debates, then (realizing they were being too obvious) graciously let him in but asked him no questions of substance, don't have even a tiny share of the blame?

And who says this nation doesn't need a healthy dose of crazy like a fox? Just because you don't understand what the fox is up to doesn't mean the fox is crazy. It could just mean you're stupid...
