I've been making beats for years. I haven't made any in the past year or so, but here are some beats that people are free to use if you want to make a Ron Paul/Freedom-n-Liberty track. They are a little heavy on the bass since I don't have a great speaker system to help me adjust all the EQs.

I have no real use for them, but I enjoyed them. Very good work. What program do you use?

Fruity Loops, record player, some old records, and a good friend that sends me some good samples.

I got some more too that I've made a couple years ago. The beats from my soundclick page are 3 years or older. I can update it with some newer beats that are also pretty dope. I never updated my page because I was worried about beat jackers, but since I'm not really making beats that often anymore, they are pretty much free. I just want the producer credit if anyone uses them.

didn't the lp die last election ? when they nominated a undercover gop hack? i thought we were trying to further the republican/libertarian movement!!
the lp marginalized themselves last election!! the lp better get with the program and reclaim the party they abandoned many yrs ago! the gop
we will need to take back the gop or form a new party coalition that hasn't been marginalized by the rnc/dnc! the lp/tp/cp will need to join this new coalition or they will only marginalize themselves futher! We need a New Brandname/Party that is associated with a new platform

the gop will either be saved or become a marginalized 3rd party as we form a New party/Coalition. the rest will be history!!!

i am all for a libertarian movement but it will not happen in the lp party!!

there is a good reason why Ron Paul did not run LP!!

the lp would be better served if they joined the gop and reclaimed the party they adandoned!! we will see if the lp can swallow their ego's!!

note good beats;)

I wish I could rap so I could bust out something over Hostile Takeover.

I'd love to see Slug from Atmosphere get on some of these beats.

Sweet stuff Self.

I used to piddle around in the studio myself years back with some mics, a guitar, Yamaha CS2X, some vinyl and some PC programs.

My first 2 attempts in music about 8 years ago:
"Chicanery" (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=159988&t=7079)

"NoDirection" (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=165280&t=2739)

The last time I was in the studio:
"Hammerin' Tape" (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=472320&t=8056)

I really wish I had time to get back into it. But other priorities are abound.

When I said Libertarian Movement, I meant all people that are libertarian-minded. Libertarianism. I wasn't referring to any particular party. No way are any lame LP candidates using my beats just so they can lose an election.

Nice beats SelfTaught. Woke up in the middle of the night and came across this tread and was inspired to update my promo for my online live liberty TV show at BoldVoices.TV (http://boldvoices.tv) channel 6 using the start of your beat Game Time.

YouTube - ITTV Promo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1IyKvrvdbQ)

Hopefully you will let me use it, but if not let me know if you want me to take the down video and not use it on my show. I linked to your beat page from the YouTube page.

Man, those beats are hot! You are very talented. I am definitely going to use those sometime. :D

By the way, there is a thread here on the forums celebrating hip hop/rap music (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=196420). Check it out sometime, and post your favorite songs at your leisure.

So have I, which is why I was wondering what program he used. Nothing I've made on FL ever sounded that good. :P

Thanks sir, you are too kind. Thanks to everyone else that enjoyed them.

If you want to have hot sounding beats on Fruity Loops, you gotta have hot samples and good drums. My first beats were completely garbage and a lot of my beats are garbage. I've made well over 150 beats and I only post the best ones. If you want good samples, you need to get a turn table and records and start digging. You can also visit some record blogs where you can download whole albums from the 60s - 70s era. For drums, you can do some searching and find a lot of drum kits on the internets. Or, you can record all those good drum breaks off the records.

There is no secret. I've used MPCs and more professional programs like Reason. Fruity Loops is the one that I find easiet to use.

I am way to busy right now to immerse in a music project, but these sound great - and I'll remember that they are there when I have the time and cash to focus on some recording.

Is that you on guitar in Hottness Monster, or is that sampled from somewhere, too?

Thats the sample. Matter of fact, I used that sample, Lamont Dozier - Shine, for beat63 as well.

By the way, SelfTaught, I listened to at least 4 of the samples. Smooth, groove-tastic and very impressive. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you still own your vinyl. Its heavy and takes up a lot of space, but there's nothing like it. When I talk vinyl with young people like myself, they tune me out almost immediately. Maybe they don't understand that music coming out of a physical medium sounds better than digitally recorded data.
