View Full Version : Ron Paul's abandoned Facebook page has almost 140,000 fans

Such a pity that no administrator of that page has posted anything to that page since June of last year...this page could have been used to announce Rand Paul's decision to run for the Senate, the money bomb, etc.

It has been posted here that Kent Snyder administered that page. Unfortunately he passed away and nobody else knows the password....

Then someone from RP's staff should get in touch with Facebook...not knowing the password is no reason to forget about this valuable asset.

I am an admin for the RP 2008 Facebook group, but there is no capability to mass message the group. There's not much we can do with it.

Unfortunately, I am unaware of who "owns" RP's page or profile. It may be his grandson, Matt.

Just write notes like Sarah Palin does! This is a huge opportunity we are missing out on! We were the pioneers of this stuff!

If nothing happens with that group, then form a new one. Start posting at the old site if possible, or spread the word to move to the new site. Any group can be marginalized with inactivity.

Do you know what the issue is with it? It shouldn't be that difficult... It's the Ron Paul page, if Ron Paul verifies himself and asks for access they should be able to work it out.

Can someone get the info on this. I am quite certain that if RP asks he can get access. And if he doesn't next time he is on some news show say "Facebook won't let me access my own page with 140,000 fans" - that would get the ball rolling.

Keep us updated. I would be shocked and disappointed if we couldn't resolve this...The number of people that can be reached through the medium cannot be discounted.

Once it is over a certain number of fans, 2000 I think, you can no longer message them.
