Petraeus, Scarborough eyed for '12

Top Republicans, inspired by President Barack Obama’s recent drop in popularity, are newly optimistic about their chances of challenging him in 2012 and are focusing on some surprising names.

Top Republicans ... are focusing on some surprising names.

So Politico is reporting on who the "Top Republicans" are considering for '12 - you should then take this to mean: "Policito is printing exactly what the power elite of the Republican Party is tell them to - and therefore should be subjected to extreme scrutiny in the veracity and purpose of their reporting."

CNN ran a piece today by some warmonger Democrat trying to say that "Obama supporters are defecting" by not backing more war, when in reality they were only backing Obama because they were anti-war to begin with.

He used trumped up facts and tried to tie 9/11 to the current war in Afghanistan to Al-Qaeda! He said that we have to fight them there, so that we don't have to fight them in Kansas City!

Of course this crap is reprehensible, but the editors of CNN and Politico don't want to hear from 'some internet whacko' about how their news sucks. They want to keep getting gov't interviews, gov't contracts, and gov't positions for themselves and their buddies.

Don't be outraged, as only the change in another person will quench that emotion, and you cannot expect to really change anyone else by force. Real change in others can only be effectuated by leading through example - show people that they will be happier if they stop caring about what is going on in D.C. - unless they themselves can actually change it.
