I remember being really disappointed when he sided with the neocons on both Iraq and Afghanistan. Here he is on Afghanistan (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/31/AR2009083102912.html) and Iraq (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/03/AR2009090301866.html) now. He's actually going further than a some of us on Afghanistan.... I'm still not sure about the right path out.

Afghanistan could at least be justified on self-defense grounds-- not the Wilsonian rhetoric of spreading democracy Will and the Neocons engaged in. While a special forces team should have been sent to hunt down Bin Laden it's at least understandable why they went after the Taliban regime.

The neocons are pissed and engaging in hysterics as (1 (http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB10001424052970204731804574388630158193104.html), 2 (http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZDA2OTBjMWVmMDIwZTMyYWJkZDE4ZGUxMGM5MzRiNWM=)) and unfortunately George Will being inconsistent gave them some ammo (http://www.commentarymagazine.com/blogs/index.php/wehner/82951) but overall it's a positive development.
