''This administration's bunker mentality has been counterproductive both at home and abroad,'' Huckabee said in opening a broad indictment of Bush's style and policy.
...
On one hotly debated issue, Huckabee endorsed Bush's surge of troops into Iraq, urging more time for that to work and criticizing Democratic proposals to get troops out as an invitation to chaos.
Huckabee rips Bush's war on terrorism (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1903824/posts)
Huckabee's for everbody's foreign policy, and he's against'em too. What leadership! What guts! What a maverick!

Money talks. They put up stories that generate page hits, because page hits translate into ad revenue.
Leave comments telling them what kind of coverage you want to see, and show them how unhappy you are with fluff party-line pieces like this you are.
McClatchy has a good reputation for journalistic integrity and going against the administration, but this piece is a sell out.

Because we want to send them the message by overwhelming them with comments that stories on Ron Paul are what all of us want, and why we're here, and will generate page hits for them.
And the more Ron Paul stories that are out there, the more exposure he gets, and the more page hits they get. It's win-win.

You must be new. We've been doing that since April and the mainstream media still doesn't care. You're talking to a brick wall.

stick your finger in the air and see which way the winds blowing. Talk about a charlatan? Rails bush on foreign policy? Bwahahahahaha, the Huckster has just pronounced to the world he is a "politician". Thank you. They'll all have pocket constitutions and and be waving a pen at the next debate. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

So you're just not going to bother? Why did you post in this threat just to tell us that you don't care and you can't be bothered to take 30 seconds to leave a comment?
Paul is getting better media coverage than any other "2nd tier" candidate.
And it has everything to do with people sending the message to outlets just like this one that we want coverage of Ron Paul, that Ron Paul coverage generates buzz and page hits, and most importantly for some of these media outlets, that Ron Paul is a thorn in the side of "mainstream" GOP candidates like Giuliani in every public encounter.

Because Ron Paul isnt just against big govt.. but hes also against big business.. wait thats not accurate.. hes against big business working together with big govt to stifle the rights of the people.. another word for that is corporatism.. and of course another term for corporatism is fascism.

I didn't post to tell anyone about my personal motivations/efforts in this regard. I posted because I want others to realize that "spamming" comments is just a waste of time and effort. I've been following this campaign cycle closely and it's blatantly clear the media (in general) is ignoring RP. The major networks have withdrawn/hidden their post debate polls and popular RP articles. They know when 15 thousand of us swarm on their poll that we are out there. They know they can get the same effect any time they want by posting something, especially something that's really negative. They won't even do that.
Anyway, I'm not saying that a well written comment tailored well to the article at hand that sits immediately below the article it responds to is worthless; at least it gets some views. But please don't spend 15 minutes crafting a brilliant rebuttal only to have it lost in 200 pages of comments. Instead call up a friend or relative, or knock on a few doors.
Whelp, I'll stop wasting my time now :)
