the Huffpo explains how Mary Jo Kopechne took one for the team, because she was a "catalyst for the most successful senate career in history" (how did that help his career????)

"Who Knows - maybe she would feel it was worth it"

Great.... so it's ok for Kennedy to cause a girl's death, because he later went on to implement statist public policies. Super.

I have absolutely no clue what her point is. I've read the article more than once and haven't any idea what the bloody hell she's taking about. For all I can tell this is an editorial about NASA overspending in code.

They are saying that Republicans are evil for whining about justice for Kopeche because they can`t know that Kopeche wasn`t a Vulcan and would perhaps not have resented Kennedy not being locked up, because he went on to be such a valuable do-gooder liberal-progressive mini-messiah and we all know that the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few.

Bottom line is; they are insane.

You can't help but feel the Kop family was paid off very well, as they never resurfaced after the event.

Teddy was a bastard... IMO he never did anything in his life that was worthwhile. Even the news media brags at the way he would cut a deal... say for example... a moderate health care plan that a huge percentage of the population would accept... only then to shove their communist, socialist improvements to the plan in other bills as we sleep. Shove the death panel in the aide to military personnel. And that is something to brag about?

The fact that anyone would even write such an article - crazy!

Man... people are nuts. The chick tried to claw the upholstery to save herself from drowning. That has to be one of the worst ways for someone to die.

Fact is Teddy should have spent his entire life behind bars... instead he, in his position as a Senator of all things, lmao.... put the entire nation behind bars.
