View Full Version : Glenn Beck talks about Obama's "Civilian National Security Force"

I wondered what Obama meant by that. I even asked some liberals about it, but they said I was taking it out of context, that Obama was talking about Americorps. When I said Obama was careful with words while making speeches, I didn't get a response.

I don't know about this being the equivalent of "brown shirts," but it did sound pretty creepy.

Americorp is not a security force. It's more of an aid and community service organization. Like a domestic peace corp.

Obama specifically said a National Civilian Security Force that is as well-funded and well-trained as the military. Which means some sort of law enforcement agency that is not your standard cops, FBI, state troopers, etc or he means the militarization of existing law enforcement. Which is not to say that Americorp couldn't be turned into a para-military group.

Either way is unacceptable.

Besides, wasn't Homeland Security supposed to take care of that?

You are crazy. There are so many legitimate arguments against Obama (bailouts, more government spending, not bringing the troops back as he promised he would) but instead so much of this forum is spent on conspiracy theory. Obama is Hitler, he's assembling a team of assassins, they're going to force us to take vaccinations, force circumcisions, and ban the internet. Oh and BTW he was born in Kenya :rolleyes:

By attacking Obama on nonsense you give him a pass on what he's really doing.

I'm not talking about you in specific. I'm talking about the general anti-Obama conspiracy nonsense. What do you think this security force is going to do?

I don't know. I'd like to know. But the only person I've seen talking about it so far is Glenn Beck. It would be nice if the President could explain what he meant.

I don't know. I'd like to know. But the only person I've seen talking about it so far is Glenn Beck. It would be nice if the President could explain what he meant.

Do you have a link to the exact quote by Obama? When did he say it? What was the context? What steps has he taken to implement?

In the context of talking about AmeriCorps, but he didn't say "We need to quadruple the size of Americorps." He said "civilian national security force," which is strange for someone so careful and articulate when he speaks.

look terrell...at the end......at the end those kids were quoting obama's socialist propaganda..that IS SCAREY..i have NEVER in my life known of ANY president that had this sort of HYPNOTIC effect on people and especially children...get em while they are young. While I understand that Obama is a source of inspiration for black kids...we have to be careful in how that is filtered ....they look like robots that are programmed to say that shit rather than kids expressing themselves individually in their own words. THIS is why there is an UPROAR about Obama being piped into all the kids classrooms and people are keeping their kids home. That video is down right SCAREY. tones

yeah, I remember that speech well. His supporters just applauded without even thinking to themselves, "wtf? Did he just say a civilian national security force??"

I mean, there's something weird about that. When you think "Americorps," do you think of people helping to rebuild a levy, or do you think "powerful"?
