I know this is old news,

But I was doing some research on the status of RFID in California after receiving a new debit/credit card that had an RFID chip in it.

Looks like there are laws in place against the "reading" of RFID chips.

I can't seem to find the current status of RFID in California (in relation to drivers license's or the attempted ban), if anyone knows of some good sources or wants to do some checking around of their own that would be much appreciated :)
