Apparently the "grassroots" advertising boycott ain't doing shit either:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2009/08/as-boycott-continues-glenn-becks-audience-swells.html

Fox News insists that the boycott has not affected its revenue, because advertisers have just moved their commercials to different time periods.

Unfortunately sometimes the Beck version of the "freedom message" sometimes divides people.

However, there are certain indications that he may become a bit more inclusive. Certainly, he's better than he was 4 years ago, or 2 years ago, or even 1 year ago.

He hasn't said anything too dividing, except for calling Obama a "racist" I guess.

I sort of like Glen Beck at times and dislike him at times. I feel that Glen Beck is being thrust as the "figurehead" of the movement, but that his actions are pure entertainment. He's the newest broadcast version of Bill O Reilly and Keith Olberrman. I, for one, am very skeptical of what Glen Beck says and what he really means. I appreciate his taking a spotlight and shining at some issues impacting this country, but I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

Is the Ron Paul Revolution having an effect?

A Democrat is in control. :p
He's allowed to be Libertarian.

Is the Ron Paul Revolution having an effect?

It was Pat Buchanan that said one day the Republican Party would embrace Ron Paul's ideas. Now we have an openly anti-Federal Reserve host on Fox news.

i wish he would bring ron back on soon.

he mentioned today about the Missouri report that said people who had blah , blah were suspected terrorists, but no mention of paul. he did mention if you supported Palin they thought of you this way, even though her name wasnt even in the report.

but his show is pretty darn good.

bring back paul! hehe..

I think as a movement we are about ideas, not people - and we need to keep that in mind wrt Beck. Right now he is saying and promoting ideas I agree with, so I enjoy his show and think he is doing good things. Who knows though, he could change at which point I will watch less and not agree with. So what? As long as he is saying what I like to hear, I will listen and support.

Beck gets the word out in an entertaining way.

According to Daily Kos, Beck is losing sponsors by the dozen.

That's nice. Now he can get better sponsors that can pay more for his higher ratings.

Daily Kos gets their information from Color of Change, they have been lying for weeks about the number of sponsors that are boycotting Beck. So far only 11 have participated in the boycott, CoC claims it is 33. Haha.

My only question is why is he allowed by those above him to do what he does?

I am worried this is part of a set up and do not trust it? Is it just me or do others see it this way?

How come he is not removed? I would like to think it is because he is drawing in viewers?

So where did they get those viewer numbers?
