This is a general message to those who, like me, get discouraged from time to time. It's easy to let apathy creep back in when you don't see your hard work (or the hard work of others) pay off. Be patient. And keep working. We're making a difference, even if it's unseen right now. It's beneath the surface, weakening the establishment. And when it all falls through we'll be there to pick up the pieces, and throw most of them away.

This movement is like a river, swelling by the millimeter. To the naked eye there is no change. But under the rock water is pushing through the earth, finding holes and cracks, soaking through to the other side. Wherever there is weakness in the establishment, there's us; scratching, pounding, clawing to be free.

A pebble pops loose, and behind it a trickle of hope.

1207 may be brought to the floor.

Another pebble; Rand Paul gets into office.

Another; Schiff.

2012: A landslide? Maybe not. But our persistence pays off in subtle, profound ways.

The dyke will fail. Little Timmy Geithner doesn't have enough fingers and toes to plug all the leaks any more.

"If there was hope, it must lie in the proles, because only there, in those swarming disregarded masses, eighty-five percent of the population of Oceania, could the force to destroy the Party ever be generated."
