Ron Paul taking on George Bush/Karl Rove machine article?

Does anybody know where that article is, where GWB and Rove I believe tried to challenege Ron in an election with a democrat turn republican? In the article Ron said George Bush had his boots up on the desk when he met with him.

I think that was more Newt Gingrich who did the recruiting. But GW (both of them) campaigned against Ron Paul in the primary. They did eventually endorse him in the general election.

That was his 96 election campaign btw.

That was in 1994 or something like that, and when Ron Paul won they redistricted Texas and stripped him of a big chunk of Texas.
