I eat tons of calories and I am very healthy. There is nothing wrong with calories if you are using them.
Can you imagine a vegetarian who doesn't eat manufactured garbage being overweight or unhealthy? It's practically impossible. I'm talkin about a vegetable oil, vegetable eatin rice and bran and grain eatin, tofu lentil sprout eatin, cous cous pita hummus eatin motherfucker.
STOP EATING MANUFACTURED OVERPROCESSED FOOD. That is the key to good health. Fuck calorie counting. Eat until your full, but don't eat MSG which makes you think you're hungry when you aren't. Don't eat chemicals that the FDA says is OK. Don't eat anything in a shiny package. Eat stuff that grows from the ground and grown naturally (aka organic). Eat eggs if you have to. Eat some organic, grass fed meat on occasion if you have to. Just stop eating prepackaged food if you are concerned about your health.

If you're having a problem with too much calories, you probably are reacting to all of the chemicals that is put into pretty much all processed food and fast food. So the problem isn't the calories, it's all of the chemicals that your body is addicted to.
The only way to get rid of these permanently is to stop eating them for a long time (which is really difficult in today's world, especially since they are addictive), OOOORRRR, you can lookup the thread on here about the lemonade diet, download the e-book and go for it. In 10 days flat you will be very anxious to eat healthy, organic food. Eating a piece of fruit will give you the same pleasure as eating a steak does now. Seeing tofu in the store gives me the same feeling that I used to get when I saw a steak when I was much younger and addicted to fastfood and crap. After you do a cleanse, you start craving REAL nutrition. You will have no desire to drink sodas or candy or anything like that, you'll be wanting vegetables and lentils and things that give you real nourishment. Your tastebuds will become more sensitive and your new healthy food diet will taste better than your old crap diet. In fact you'll probaly try your old crap food at some point and have no desire to continue eating it.

Stress less, eat things you can pronounce and recreate on your own, never challenge a Sicilian when death is on the line.

Yep, my family is pretty much on the way to being processed food free! Unfortunately, it's a little more difficult with a 2 and 4 yo who've already been exposed to the wonderful world of chemically altered tasty poison delights. :)
I'm trying to fix it tho. Wish me luck! :D
