Hempcrete is basically an eco-friendly alternative to concrete. Not only is hempcrete more environmentally friendly, but it is stronger than concrete, less prone to cracking, and about half the weight of concrete. Using hempcrete in buildings makes sense in more ways than one.

Hempcrete is usually mixed on site, then sprayed directly onto the building frame.

That's great, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of materials that fit that bill. They just cost a lot more than concrete, as this stuff probably does.

That said, I'm all for legalization of hemp, and just about everything else, really.

Um, to be fair, you should have mentioned WHY hempcrete would be so much more expensive....

If it were legal to grow as a crop, I GUARANTEE they could make a hempcrete that is cheaper than concrete that is much better. Hemp is extremely cheap to grow, the problem is there isn't enough land available to grow it legally so the supply is diminished.
