Wow. Geithner is so full of shit. I loved the part where he was asked about the Treasury/Goldman revolving door and he replied that they were ALL great men!

The thing that gets me is, he says if The Fed hadn't done what it did, things would have been much worse. So I wonder, why didn't The Fed see this housing bubble coming? Many people saw this coming years ago, not just in 2008! Why didn't The Fed do something in 2006 to shut this bubble down? Or is it really that they aren't that smart, and they constantly get caught with their pants down?
