I don't think you should use the videos subreddit, it's for generic videos that don't fit elsewhere, not for political/economics videos - you should post videos on /r/economics (which is alright most of the time) or /r/libertarian (which is always alright:)) or /r/politics (which is populated by liberal clowns).

I just think that they get more attention on the videos section....

is there any video that you put in /r/videos that got more than a couple of upvotes?
i recommend the economics subreddit, it's not populated entirely by liberal clown like the politics subreddit... but of course trends can change... it seems to me that people subscribed to /r/videos are looking for non-political stuff so your links are DOA there:(
