Although Pelosi is my least favorite Congress Critter, Maxine Waters has always struck me as the outright stupidest. Pelosi is no rocket scientist either - but I used to love watching Waters "grilling" Bernanke and usually the substance of her questioning was to find out what policies the Fed was going to institute to help African Americans get into homes, or to help them.

Not to change the subject, but did you happen to see The Nine Lives of Marion Barry on HBO. Completely baffling that the constituents of DC were so blinded by race and so dim witted to have elected and re-elected this man again and again. It is his police force that brutalized their sons and daughters and arrested them and sent them to prison for doing the very thing that Barry himself was convicted of. I wonder for how long playing the race game is going to work in this country for venal and corrupt politicians to get into office and line their pockets at everyone else's expense.

I don't know about most peoples doctors offices but the last to doctors that I have seen from different offices all have computers that they carry around and put into docking stations in the rooms. The only thing I get on paper is when my doctor rights me a prescription for homeopathic medicine that I can't get at a pharmacy and that when I don't think I'll remember the name of the stuff. Other than that everything is automated (prescriptions to the pharmacy, billing, no folders). This is horse shit and they know it. This isn't the first time I have heard that excuse and as a matter of fact that is really the only excuse that I have heard for cutting costs.
