I'm sick and tired of seeing garbage like this with a tiny satire tag in Google News: http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s2i25146

Please write Google some notes saying you find picking a President to not be a laughing matter and that this amateur comedy blog should be removed.

Thank you. :)

You mean like "Hillary and Rudy drop out and endorse Ron Paul?"

I don't mind the pro-Ron Paul spoofs, but the anti-Ron Paul ones are uncalled for.. time to take it off! :D

You mean like "Hillary and Rudy drop out and endorse Ron Paul?"I don't think many articles are that funny. Since it allows everyone to write the entire brand is diluted with crap, perhaps there are a few diamonds among them.... but.....

For a lesson in a good satire/parody site, SatireWire, though retired, can't be beat:
http://www.satirewire.com/news/0008/satire-fbiteens.shtml

It was written by one person AFAIK and much better than "the spoof."

That shit is the most unfunny unoriginal crap I have ever seen written, just about anywhere. Short of daily-kos of course ;-)

I actually thought it was quite funny:rolleyes: ... totally making fun of those who say we are just a few spammers..

I thought it was almost worthy of The Onion....

yeah, hopefully google will cave to our pressure to take off subject matter we don't agree with. You guys boggle me. Who cares if it's not "news" per your standards, it's clearly marked satire and even if it wasn't it clearly is satire. There is no promise that stuff found on google news will be "NEWS" whatever that means, maybe you guys can share you definition for it that should be applied universally.

There are people who never see the satire tag, only the headline.

The owner of that site is a ron paul supporter and has an account on this forum. I emailed google the first time someone made a thread like this and we all got back the same reply

Sean Hannity's representative said simply "For once, thank God, Fox News was right. Booya."
That's kinda funny.

This one is terrible but kind of funny at the same time. It makes the other candidates look like idiots.

I wrote once a few months back, so I'm probably not going to write again. BUt I hate the "Satire" sites included with the news. I'm as much against the inclusion of Wonkette snippets as I am "The Spoof" articles.

Agreed.
