Notorious neocon and anti-Iraqi racist Rupert Murdoch has been called foreign lobbies agent in US media and blamed by some for deliberately pushing lies as news. But while this propangada king's outfit had been making big bucks till recently, that may have changed with fall of Bush/Cheney regime and recent lack of appetite for Iraqi freedom news. Rupert probably did not think this could happen to his empire when he was hosting fund raiser for Hillary Clinton just few months ago:

Bonus Shrinks for News Corp.'s Rupert Murdoch

By NAT WORDEN

News Corp. Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch received compensation valued at $18 million in the media giant's latest fiscal year, down 40% from $30.1 million the year before, according to an analysis of the company's proxy statement.

Mr. Murdoch's biggest hit was in his bonus, which fell 69% to $5.4 million from $17.5 million, following the company's plunge in earnings and stock price amid the global financial crisis and economic downturn.

The media mogul's salary was flat at $8.1 million. In addition, News Corp. awarded Murdoch stock and options worth more than $4 million and perks of $379,981.

Under accounting rules prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which include changes in pension values and a different method of accounting for stock awards, Mr. Murdoch's total compensation was $19.9 million, down from last year's $27.5 million.

News Corp. owns The Wall Street Journal.

News Corp. swings to a $203-million loss in 4th quarter

Rupert Murdoch's media conglomerate says its Internet assets, which include MySpace, have lost a third of their value since it bought them in 2005. The company also posts a loss for the fiscal year.

Also during the call, Murdoch announced that News Corp. planned to charge for Web access to all of its newspapers, along with FoxNews .com, as it already does for the Wall Street Journal's website.

Charging for news content has been a hot topic in the industry of late, but no other major papers have followed the Journal's lead. "Quality journalism is not cheap, and an industry that gives away its content is simply cannibalizing its ability to create good reporting," Murdoch said.

News Corp.'s newspaper business could certainly use a boost, as it reported a 63% drop in adjusted operating income last quarter to $96 million.

For News Corp.'s full fiscal year, revenue fell 8% to $30.4 billion and the company swung to a $3.38-billion loss from a $5.39-billion profit.

This was before recent ad boycott movement. Is the "we distort, you decide" bogus news business coming to end?

I wish it was coming to an end, but they will find their new angle.

wow, Fox is LOSING money? I thought they had by far the most viewers of all the stations? What about CNN and MSNBC's profits? Color me surprised. But nothing would make me happier then seeing that fucker Murdoch lose his business.

The economic collapse has been pure hell for industries that rely on advertising. I imagine FoxNews lost the least out of all the major players, but everybody is losing money right now. Doesn't really have anything to do with politics.

Pain of ads loss has a way of changing media sluts behavior. You're right though, likely scenario is that they will try to find a new shtick to fool the masses but there are at least some odds against that for a change.

There is no good TV media out there right now, a freedom oriented TV media has to be in place to take their place if that happened. Hopefully neocons infighting and chaos will pick up pace in days ahead.

Not sure if that's true, they had huge losses from their internet properties too that probably did not apply to already down other news corps.

Maybe they will decide to turn Fox back into a NEWS station instead of a tabloid station. I finally had it when they did 4 days of All Michael Jackson All the Time -- right during Cap and Trade.

Don't know if that would be any better. When they used to do serious "news", close to 70% of Fox news watchers believed that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11. They just excel at deceipt and propaganda in the name of news to server foreign lobbies agenda. It's a dispicable media slut of an outfit.

ROFL, if they do this I garuntee no one will ever use Foxnews website again. Quality journalism? Lol. Theres a million blogs out there that can take Fox's place. The only sad part about this is I won't be able to watch Freedom Watch on Foxnews.com

They have been trying for a while now to "monetize" web site news by limiting free access to news and blogs, that looks like failed business model and won't work.

IMO, Freedom Watch doesn't need to be on a web site that charges for simple view. It contradicts the very spirit of keeping internet free.

In the case that Freedom Watch bombs because of this subscription shit, I would hope the Judge begins negotiating with MSNBC & CNN to try to get onto cable, once his contract is up.

I agree. For durable and lasting change, liberty minded people need to "infilterate" all these so called MSM channels reagrdless of Left/Right lables. Left to their own devices, they all have been for the most part corrupt and have promoted ignorance.

Interesting devoplments, fallout from Fox ad boycott is expanding beyong Glenn Beck show, Colorox bleach has gone bit too far with it:

Attack on Obama riles Beck's advertisers

By DAVID BAUDER (AP) – 8 hours ago

NEW YORK — Glenn Beck returns to Fox News Channel on Monday after a vacation with fewer companies willing to advertise on his show than when he left, part of the fallout from calling President Barack Obama a racist.

A total of 33 Fox advertisers, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc., CVS Caremark, Clorox and Sprint, directed that their commercials not air on Beck's show, according to the companies and ColorofChange.org, a group that promotes political action among blacks and launched a campaign to get advertisers to abandon him. That's more than a dozen more than were identified a week ago.

While it's unclear what effect, if any, this will ultimately have on Fox and Beck, it is already making advertisers skittish about hawking their wares within the most opinionated cable TV shows.

The Clorox Co., a former Beck advertiser, now says that "we do not want to be associated with inflammatory speech used by either liberal or conservative talk show hosts." The maker of bleach and household cleaners said in a statement that it has decided not to advertise on political talk shows.

Glenn Beck had a "black expert" on today with big fancy national debt cocks and charts. Then he tried to link Obama to Mao, Marx , Hitler, Black Panthers and other radical figures by platsering their photos before Obama's. He's in a hole and is digging deeper and deeper. All he had to do was to say was that he was against the deficit when a White President was racking it up for the cause of Iraqi people's freedom and he's against it now when a Black president is racking it up for the sake of American minorities and that he just don't like deficit, that's all.
But he doesn't seem to have much sense and probably will take down Fox and Rupert with him the way things are progressing.

Oof, this is misreporting. Wal Mart was never advertising in the first place. I emailed these companies and they replied that they either are still advertising with Fox & Beck or they were never even on Fox. Color of Change, the black nationalists, are known to lie like this for media attention.

I think we have to be honest. Obama is a Socialist, so was Hitler & Mao. If we are going to honestly discuss the NWO we need to say what political ideology is behind it. The Rothchilds, Zionist etlite, etc.. are all Socialists. Socialism restircts our liberties and says it's for the greater good, thats why the etlites love it. He should drop the Marxist & Communist thing, since it's not accurate. USSR was Socialist not Marxist or Communist. Even Alex Jones is beginning to call the NWO a Socialist order.

Ofcourse Obama is a socialist, so is Glenn Beck and that makes him a hypocrite to be talking about Obama's deficit. In this context, Glenn could be saying that sky is blue and sun is hot and he would still be wrong. Him and Fox news will be desserving whatever flack they catch imo because of their lies of last 8 years.

I emailed some advertizers too. Male enhancer pill is apparently still advertisizng on Fox, I have told them there would be a mass boycott of their product if they did not pull their ads from that anti freedom outfit of a show LOL
