Those two New Hampshire districts may change in 2010.

I'm surprised Texas has so many Liberal Dems in office..

Well when you have places like Austin and Dallas...

I will say, I am glad to see my two congressmen (where I live and where I am registered) on the list at 90%. Hensarling and Johnson always seem to make me happy.

Ah, I'm guessing these cities have a lot of immigrants that sheepishly vote for the Dems.

Nebraska -- our guys aren't perfect, but with some poking and prodding we can help them along. We got them all to sign on to HR 1207 after all. :-)

Not really immigrants... it is just that the gays and poor (statistically accurate statement, not a generalization) seem to flock there and vote Democrat.

My congresswoman Gwen Moore got a 10. A friggin' 10 out of 100!

It's amazing how bad Democrats do on this list. But I guess that's expected since they have the power and the Republicans are the dissenters at the moment.

When Homeland Security and the Patriot Act came up I'm sure many of those Republicans would have scored low on the Report Card.

Who makes this Freedom Index? Can they be trusted? What are their standards?

The JBS and yes, I think their standards are quite good. They provide them in the document for all to see. Specific pieces of legislation are chosen as the criteria and each representative is rated based upon how they voted.

My congressman Klien (D) scored a 0%. Only in office because he's Jewish and represents a Jewish district. Plus, many people were disgusted with Republicans in 2006 around here because of the Mark Foley scandal. They sheepishly voted Dem.

Yep every person who doesn't vote with you is a sheep.

My Congressman, John Boccieri, got a 20%. George Voinovich got a 50%, and Sherrod Brown got a 0%.

No, but it's a known fact that Hispanic immigrants down south usually vote Democrats, just for the fact they believe in the welfare state and are weaker on illegal immigration. Hence why you see many ethnic minorities from Latin America at Obama rallies.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

And I called people who voted for Faux-Conservative Israeli-First Republicans sheep too. Biased much?

My congressman Brad Ellsworth has a score of 30%. I'm actually surprised he scored that high; all the people I know hate him. Not to be partisan, but did anybody else notice that the criteria was heavily biased towards Republicans? I have a really hard time believing that most Republicans in Congress are in any way shape or form a Constitutionalist.

I'm fairly proud of Cynthia Lummis, she's doing all right. Is there a similar listing for Senators? I know WYs senators don't have a perfect record there, but I think they're probably both also okay. Barrasso likes to have these telephone town hall meetings, and when I've participated he speaks as though he's mostly got his head on straight.

edit: Nevermind, it's in the link. Barrasso 90, and Enzi 80. Not surprising. Obviously it'd be great if they were all 100%. . .
