Based on recent buzz in news about Fox boycott movement, infighting among neocons and current chaos at Fox news may not end with removal of moderate neocon like Glenn Beck. Some reports suggest that they may not stop at Beck or Hannity and could be going afetr mother of all neocons in media, the owner Rupert Murdoch of Fox news. Too early to say how this will end but if Obama crowd somehow did manage to dismantle Fox news piece by piece, what will that mean for US media landscape? No one really watches liberal Obama prasiers in chhief at MSNBC. Could this create room for new liberty media in the US? Would there be an upside to this?

It may not be all just Obama crowd however, could be prayers of Iraqi civilians at work here. But based on their record , this chaos among racist freak show at the neocon central could be good news for freedom of news in America.

Another question, should Liberty movement watch from side lines as they go at each other? Or should we encourage this without getting involed?

This may not be an easy fight for Obama crowd though, Fox owner has had some solid support among left wing neocons in democratic party:

Rupert Murdock Hosting Hillary Clinton Fundraiser

James Joyner | Monday, May 8, 2006

Murdoch’s surprise decision to raise money for Clinton in July, on behalf of NEWS CORP., parent company of FOXNEWS and the NEW YORK POST, underlines a dramatic turn of relations between Murdoch and Clinton, who in 1998 coined the phrase “vast rightwing conspiracy” to denounce critics of her husband.

Some say the move by Murdoch reflects approval of her Senate career. Others note his record for picking future national leaders. Last century, he threw over the British conservatism he’d long supported to back longshot Tony Blair.

Clinton surprised Washington and media watchers recently by attending a FOX NEWS anniversary party, where she toasted Murdoch.

There is no confirmation yet if Fox has fired Glenn Beck. But if that becomes the case, this would be part of new trend at Fox news. Allegedly this news anchorwoman was recently fired by Fox news for "racist remark" about Michelle Obama:

Murdoch will pander to the administration and guarantee Obama's health care program sails on through. He will frame himself and FOX as being conservative but he can't help but expose his neo liberal agenda.

Right wing dip shits like Glenn Beck are a dime a dozen- there are hundreds of them doing shows on AM radio around the country- and they'd gladly take his place on Fox News.

If they do fire Beck, he will be replaced by the end of the day with a clone, and it will be business as usual for Fox News. No one other than Beck's immediate family will even remember him 3 months down the road.

Sounds about right, Murdoch is a neocon with a long track record.

Can't disagree with that.

Hmmm, spoken like a true progressive. The progressive/communist element in our country are just angry because no one will listen to their obvious drivel when they are able to convince some moron to let them on the radio.

You truly seem to be rabidly against the "only" msm that is even slightly conservative. Could it be that you are rooting for the socialist/progressive/communist people that are now in power and are destoying our country as we write?

We really do need the Judge on cable Fox news soon. Beck gives a platform to people like Schiff & Rand but the Judge is gifted at converting Neo-Cons & Liberals to Libertarian views.

Glenn Beck won't be fired, since Fox hasn't lost any revenue from the boycott. Plus when I emailed the sponsors who removed ads from Glenn Beck, some of them claimed they were never advertising on Fox to begin with. Turns out the Liberal blogs were basically exaggerating the number of sponsors who were participating in their boycott. And, MSNBC is being hurt in the boycott aswell, since some of these companies have decided to remove ads from both channels since they didn't want to be seen as being bias.

This is fascism. The corporate/government partnership dictate our viewing choices.

Well you can't spell "neo-conservative" without saying "conservative", so that probably applies to Fox news.

But is "conservatism" of a neo-con worth defending, that's a whole different things. There ideology is not much different than neo-liberals in some ways.

Fox news is about as defensible as Bush/Cheney were; they were "conservative" too afterall.

Would you say supporting "civil war" in Iraq would be fascism or not?

Freedom to boycott is part of free societies. Facists going at each other would be good news or bad news for freedom?

Fox distorts and misinforms public consistently for the most part and has displayed blatant racist views towards Iraqi civilians. What would be to the downside if Obama crowd took it out of business piece by piece using ad boycotts and by guilting corporate giants to go along with them as long as everyone has a free choice?
