It's the little things I pick up that I love:

PS It's also very likeable that the Faux News guys hate him and all the conventional repubs don't like him but can't approach his popularity.

They can't hide this forever.

I had a feeling the dem declaration would help us a bit... I think it's going to create a ripple effect as time goes on.

Ew link, drop the link. Ew. It's better that Markos doesn't know that ronpaulforums.com floods his site, though, I wouldn't mind a hostile take over followed by a few lectures on liberty but that is besides the point. Also give the site traffic is what O'Reilly does, we don't need to promote the hatred expressed on that site by some of the users.

E-mail him and let him know him important his personal (not rich) donation is, ESPECIALLY in regards to Ron Paul!

Mention the online $1mill/1week campaign in detail!

Word.

This is how the poo-poo-ers get away with the "spammer" charge.

Most of us are smart enough to copy-n-paste web addys.

Poor guy. He's really getting hammered in the comments. But he holds his own pretty well.

This "Dem declaration" as it is being referred too is not going to help us a "little bit" but rather a large bit.

My roommate is a Obama supporting liberal (from Jersey; UGH; statists). He has been talked into voting for paul cause voting for dems in Alabama does no good (well primary is different but it is in my best interest not to clear that technicality up :) :) ). And when I mentioned tonight that Clinton, Edwards, and even Obama all said they would not pledge to be out of Iraq within 6 years I saw his eyes grow big and then he said something about pro-paul.

This "dem declaration" is not anything new to us at all. We know the truth. We know they are only playing anti-war politics, not anti-war ideology. But what it does is give us something firm and concrete to work with. It gives us something to back up our assertions very clearly and 100% to our advantage.

Right now, alot of teetering Democrats would give Ron Paul as much chance of winning as Kucinich. If Ron Paul gains some serious traction and looks like a contender, they will come in droves, and seal the deal for Ron. Gotta win New Hampshire!

After reading the comments from that link, I'm more convinced than ever that all one needs to be a "progressive" (read: socialist-cum-communist) is profound economic ignorance, coupled with a disdain for self-sufficiency that borders the truly psychotic.

I think I'll go take a shower now.

Make sure you pay good attention to those smears on that blog. Those posters are comming at us full force soon enough. If they have to fight our movement we'll be battling on the net as well as at the polls.

Actually that sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. But keep in mind:

The bigger man always wins. Keep your discussions logical, dismiss insult as weakness, backup rebuttals with fact, and know your enemy.

I apparently like to torture myself and end up at DailyKOS often.

It never fails to piss me off, Ive so far resisted making an account and posting anything. That would probably piss me off more.

I just dont get their hate.. they just dont know anything.

It's not the attackers that you need to concern yourself with, you will not change their opinioins - ever. It is those that read the two opinions. They are the ones you must fight for.

Someone in the comments said Ron Paul voted to condemn MoveOn.org. I find that very hard to believe.

Like I said....The Kos-ers are truly psychotic. They make the Truthers look like PhDs in physics and math.

Well.. the thing was meaningless. why should Ron Paul alienate his base by voting against? It's better for him now.

Heh, maybe you'll get to see me in action. I love me a good intertube battlewar. Let's just say I have a knack for it, one I'll never show around this hallowed realm.

;)

I laughed out loud here... because well... you know.. I mean... there's ... well ... heh... you know doctorates in physics and math in the truth movement. Just sayin'. As for KoS crowd, really what's the difference between them and any other completely indoctrinated single minded groupthink entity? Violently opposed to opposing thought processes to the point of being completely unable to switch viewpoints even for the sake and honor of debate?

That's politics, and really - that's why Ron Paul rocks. I will take my tin foil hat proudly down to the rally to discuss it's intricate design with an exchange broker and a microbiologist thank you very much.

:D

Well, Feinstein did in the Senate, too... the vote was hardly split down party lines.

The mission statement of KOS is a site for progressives to promote and elect democrats. You are going to get trolled rated and run into quite a bit of nasty resistance if you promote repubicans on that site. They are especially irritated these days given all their top tier candidates can't even commit to removing trrops by 2013 in Iraq. it also doesn't help that Ron Paul seems to always come out on top when they post polls.

That comments section was interesting. Of course, a lot of people had their heads in the sand, but a lot of them seem to be starting to understand that their candidates don't offer any substantive difference from the Bush policies...

you know... it seems easier getting the democrats to vote for RP than republicans lol so much god damn easier! neo conservative papers bash him allday long... liberal papers praise him. unbelievable. We may end up having the swing votes being democrats lol

I had a parallel experience posting on Free Republic, where the rabid neocons could respond to reason only with venom.

This had a huge impact on casual readers, and a number of people posted to point out the hypocrisy of the hard core, and that the arguments had swung them over to Ron Paul!

I got kicked off, of course, despite being a perfect gentleman.

Ever since I've been voting (1976) I've favored Republicans for President. However, if the Democrats were populists representing the average citizen, rather than Marxists gathering up all the disaffected fringe groups and hard-core socialists, I could get behind a Democratic candidate. This is their historic role that they have forgotten, and it amuses me when they agonize over their 'ideals'.

Anyway, good on this guy for voting on principals. If the Dems had the right candidate for 2008, I'd cross lines myself.
