Hrm. I was only a little kid when this happened, so I know pretty much nothing about it beyond what I've learned in the past few minutes. Still, I think I've come to a tentative (and overly paranoid?) conclusion that whenever there's a prevalent conspiracy theory about anything, that probably means the official story is at the very least omitting or misrepresenting something (if not a complete lie)...even in cases where the conspiracy theory may also be incorrect. That's just a gut feeling, though. Ugh.

The US govt and the UK govt know this guy was innocent. They allowed him to be set up because Libya was already a pariah state and who they wanted to blame. Iran was responsible for this due to the US shooting down of one of their civilian passenger planes.

You're really not up on current events are ya? The US and Britain were fixing to come to blows over the way the US was covering this. Only today the US MSM even mentioned the fact that the appeals commission thought he may have been framed. This decision was made by Scottish courts, not Libya, two years ago.
