had it ever actually been on google earth? the youtube indicates that it hasn't been. the images were takent from google earth, biut i don't think the actual google RP images ever were?

google maps doesn't exactly update in real time. why would they go back and update an area where nothing major has changed and the quality is already decent? they have other areas to focus on improving first, i'd imagine.

well... how did the youtube video get the footage from Google Earth if its not on there? I'm just very curious and I'm not meaning to point fingers or blame google for anything.

It shouldn't be on google earth or google maps, because the satellite pictures are a couple of years old.

I don't think the picture we've seen is from google earth. It's most likely a recently-made aerial photograph.
