At the beginning of the primaries, a JBS member brought me several RP signs, bumper stickers, constitutions and slim jims, got me off my lazy ass, became active in the local GOP, my wife and I ended up as alternate delegates to state for Dr. Paul!

By the way, this JBS member is one of the most decent people I have ever met!

A forty-four year JBS member is our county G.O.P. chair. I can't imagine how we could possibly find a better person for that job than her.

And I don't consider their site a bad source of information.

They are usually spot on when it comes to predicting what is going to happen next.

The JBS members have as much to do with Ron Paul getting traction early on as any other group. In fact, they are probably most responsible for actually getting people involved on the streets and in the public instead of just on the internet. Primarily because many of their members had loads of experience in doing just that for years - decades. I know the JBS members in my locale led the charge in hitting public events, weekly, starting as early as May 2007.

You haven't been canvassing until you've walked door to door for miles in one day with a 70+ yr old JBS guy who has been a jbs member for 30+ years. Talk about dedication, fun to talk with and knowledge of the real history of our country spanning decades.

I am not a member but I've heard lots of good things about them, and there members are on-the-ground active.

That was me. I made that post.

The John Birch Society has such a wealth of information and I would love to see more JBS members joining Ron Paul Forums.
