Hello all,
Right now, I am working to recruit a strong, Ron Paul Republican to seek the Republican nomination for U.S. Congress in D-5 (Connecticut) for the year 2010.
At this point, one candidate is vying for the Republican nomination - Justin Bernier. However, he does not appear to me that he is worthy of the support of Ron Paul Republicans. His website is www.bernierforcongress.org.
It is rumored that another candidate will soon enter the race, Dan Carter. He is reportedly the "establishment" choice to challenge two-term Congressman Chris Murphy in 2010.
Does anyone know of any strong Ron Paul Republicans in the area (towns listed here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connecticut's_5th_congressional_district)) who might consider running for the nomination? Or more likely, does anyone have any suggestions of good recruiting places within Ron Paul-related websites?
