Hello folks.

Year of Youth is a new organization aiming to facilitate 100 victorious youth campaigns for local and state office in 2012. Using the trans-partisan message of Ron Paul as a guide, we will recruit widely from disaffected youth with the intent of mobilizing our generation to retake America.

We are calling this Project 2012. The idea was hatched between Jared Fuller and myself after a few beers at a post-CPAC party earlier this year. Our core members remain active in Young Americans for Liberty, and are ready to take our campus successes into electoral politics.

More than merely recruiting and endorsing youth candidates, YoY is adopting a hands-on, "whatever it takes" approach to achieving success. We are building a large network of volunteers, each working on specialized tasks necessary to implement our vision. In addition to our massive field program, we will have teams working on message creation and dissemination, marketing, media outreach, canvassing, whatever we need to prepare the ground for success in 2012.

If we are successful, 2012 will just be the beginning. We plan to carry our momentum forward, building an even larger Project 2014, then a Project 2016, targeting higher offices and more seats until we take control of government and restore the Republic.

We have already secured a few high-level endorsements from within the liberty movement that we will announce soon after launching our official website in a few weeks. Our core team of about 25 members is now working to prepare for our big launch.

That's where we could use your help. We need about $3,000 for a solid webserver and a Premium NetBoots (http://www.netboots.net) site made by Terra Eclipse (http://www.terraeclipse.com), the team who did the Ron Paul 2008 and Adam Kokesh 2010 websites.

You can rest knowing that your money will go to help not just one candidate, but a youth movement that will send wave after wave of liberty candidates at the system year after year, beginning with trial runs in 2010 and our first massive wave in 2012.

Year of Youth will not be one of those organizations that you give money to and never know how it is spent. We will be 100% financially transparent. Every dollar donated and every dollar spent will be recorded on our website or forums for everyone to see (minus donor information of course).

We are collecting donations using a ChipIn widget on our blog here: http://www.yearofyouth.org/2009/08/a-new-website-already/

If you can't give right now, I hope you'll connect with us and help us grow in other ways.

This project has huge potential. 100 downticket races in 2012; running, and run by, young adults.

Dog Catcher to Statehouse... Liberty Candidates...

100 low cost races. 100 small teams, all gaining experience, some gaining seats.

100 races for TPTB to have to defend... adding into a thousand cuts...

I know both of the founders of this effort as hardworking, liberty minded, activists. I hope people see the far reaching potential of this project and offer encouragement and support.

GO GRASSROOTS!!!
