Thanks for posting this. I could only watch half of the video. I had to cut it off when he started spewing his socialist nonsense.

SENATOR HATCH (R)

"I'm always ready to go back to the bargaining table," Hatch said. "Heck, I've probably helped pass more bipartisan health care legislation than anybody I know."

Bend over folks. The Red, White, and Blue Bipartisan Cock is about to be jammed up your keester.

What would appear to still be on the table is that government committee to decide what health care will be available and mandating that private plans conform to government dictate within 5 years. That means it really doesn't matter if they throw out the government option.

That it would be MANDATORY to buy it.

A National Medical ID card.

and other garbage...

exactly so we have to be out there letting people know that this is NOT the time to give in. I have a feeling that a lot of Repubicans are going to say "oh well this is not as bad so I guess I can live with this" and they are going to see their reps giving in to this and just go along with it.... the people are ready for a wake up call and they are already angry and we need to keep them energized or else they will go back to sleep.... this is why it is so important that we show up at these town halls and protest rally and we remain vocal and outspoken...

That's why I hope Obama "fails." The more cynical the Left becomes about the government and their Democratic "leaders" the better. The same with the Right of course. I hope both these phony partisan wings fail and fail and fail until they finally realize that their "leaders" don't care about them and there's nothing they can do about it. The more cynicism and despair from these guys the better.

We can't let our guard down.

We have to be just as tough and hawkish about the Republican / compromise plan too.

I volunteer to read the first 10 pages of whatever new garbage they try to push on us - and post the really suspect portions here.

Anyone else care to join me?

Pages:
1-10 - CableNewsJunkie
11-20 - ?
21-30 - ?
... - ?
... - ?
... - ?
1001-1010 - ?
etc.

Can you even find a current copy? Thomas.loc.gov still has the July 14th version.

No. I'm just saying, let's go ahead and mobilize now so that we have people ready and waiting to read it (10 pages at a time) whenever the new version IS released.

We did something similar on the DailyPaul before they passed the big bailout. We might not have stopped it...but it got people engaged in the debate and helped wake up a lot of people.

As long as the lobbyists for the insurance companies, hospital companies, and pharmaceutical companies are happy, then we surely have a winner.

I wish he'd just cut his losses and give up, but that'd imply he cared about who he represented and not his political aspirations.

No Marxist worth his salt well ever truly abandon a public option....I don't believe it...

They thought they had the power and the people behind them to ram it through rather than incrementally over 4 years. There was likely also concern what would happen in the 2010 elections.

Now they are just back to the original game plan of incremental legislation that eventually over time will end up being a single payer system.

btw - I think I am in love with the girl in the Evony Ad above. I lose my train of thought every time I see the Ad when I go to type something here.

There better not be an individual mandate, and I'd like it if there were no business mandates in the plan.

The compromise will be celebrated by the MSM and they will boast what a genius Obama is. They will slip in the individual and business mandate which will be ignored by the MSM except for Conservative commentators.

Just like all the business mandates and the federal tracking of all working Americans in the 1996 Welfare Reform Act. It was Clinton and Gingrich that were celebrated by the media as heroes that time around.

What good is a bill, to the dems, that has no public option?

Isn't it convenient that the one part of the plan that might have actually wrested a bit of power from the corporations is suddenly history? Anybody who thinks the corporations don't own the country needs to think hard about this cute little move.

He was bought and sold by big pharm with backroom deals, now he is cutting the public option. Just a puppet.

One thing is for sure, no matter what deals have been made the American people will hurt the most.

This is why we must find a way to shrink the federal government.
