The sense of international unity that followed September 11 had
given way to disagreements over the tone and conduct of the war on terrorism,
and the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq had fueled an open split
among the traditional allies of Western Europe and the United States. As
these developments called into question the utility of many of the institutions
at the core of the post–World War II international order, it seemed
to many that we were in the midst of a transition to some sort of new
international system, yet the eventual outcome remained unclear.

The Trilateral Commission recently expanded
beyond Japan to include members from throughout the Pacific Asian region,
and the Seoul meeting marked the first time that the annual meeting
had been held in a Pacific Asia country other than Japan. Therefore, it
was fitting that a major focus of the discussion was on topics related to
Asia and the prospects for regional integration.

Oh wait.
I thought the Trilateral Commission was another one of those "Conspiracies" that we are supposed too ignore and denigrate.

This really comes as no surprise, other than them openly admitting it. But the NWO is out in public and accepted now.

The "Democracy Deficit" in the Global Economy: Enhancing the Legitimacy and Accountability of Global Institutions (http://www.trilateral.org/projwork/tfrsums/tfr57.htm#questions)

What I found most interesting in this document was the lip service given to "democracy" and the complete absence of discussion of rights.

There is also an assumption that democracy is functioning adequately in some nations and that the global government can in some way inherit legitimacy from those governments.

There is no recognition of the forces that at the time the document was written were about to totally destabilize the economy of the world.

This organization appears to be a toy given to the intellectuals of the world so that they might amuse themselves while the real power and knowledge lurks behind the scenes watching and pulling strings.
