I think Zydeco is keeping track of this. I think it's been $6K/hr overall, which would have us hit the goal. There are busy times, then at night it slows down, so the average seems to be about $6K/hr.

He's at 540K in 91hrs so that's almost $6K/hr.
He needs another 460K in 77hrs so that's about $6/hr.

Friday is a payday and so is the 30th, and there's a debate tonight. All these things could cause a spike in the numbers. I've talked to some people and they are planning on donating on Friday (I am as well). With the excitement of hitting $1 million, he should get new donors that haven't given these first 4 days.

I'm doing counts from time to time -- at 7pm EST we are going to be at 50K in 2 hours, how's that? :D This is a psychotic pace...we could hit 600K by midnight!

Yesterday (12mid-12mid EST) we made 125K. Today we are at 116 K so far but at this pace we should match that within 20 minutes or so. I have no idea how long the 25K/hr pace of the last 2 hours can be kept up, but with the debate coming up and maybe some press/blogosphere action from making the half-mil goal...well, anything is possible now. A million by SATURDAY? Looks very possible.

Then we can all chill out on Sunday!

Why divide $550,000 by 79? 1 Million - $550,000 that he has already raised = $450,000. Divide $450k by 77 (number of hours remaining) and you get my number.

I was just pointing out that we actually reached 550,000 by the time 79 hours had passed. So we raised more in the first 79 hours than you posted! It was GOOD news!

Or 550K by 78 hours. (Since he has another 40 minutes to go to the 79th hr and the total could be MUCH HIGHER BY THEN.) That would give him $7K/hr.

If you haven't joined the effort to contact MySpace people, PLEASE join us - we really need to work hard to hit that $1 million goal! It's easy to do, just takes a bit of time.

Even small donations get's their email into the official HQ email list. Plus the donor's will feel obligated to register and vote once they donate. And lastly, even if they don't donate, they get reminded about the campaign and excited about the progress.

Well, we're averaging 19K/hr for the past 5 hours. If we keep going we'll be at 615K at midnight, which is incredible. We will have done 190K today if we hit that, and we'll have 3 more days left, which means we'd have to average 127 K/day over the last 3 to make a mil.

I don't fully understand the huge bump we got after 5 pm -- was it the Ron Paul e-mail? Blog and news coverage of making the 500K so quick? People saving up to donate? I dunno.
