Anyone received a MIP charge/ticket in California before? (Minor In Possession)
A friend just called me stating that he just received a MIP ticket while tailgating at a concert.
I told him that it's probably not a big deal at all.
Should be a misdemeanor,
Should be a couple hundred bucks,
Probably not something an employer is going to care too much about (depending on the job I guess)
He was not driving and there were no other tickets or charges involved.
Also, the court assigned on the ticket is quite distant and I have read before that it was the law that you can have the ticket transferred to whatever happens to be your local court house.
