This is just plain disturbing. A new environmental law passed causing water pumps to be turned in fertile fields of California. The unemployment in the area is now 40% and the fields have all dried up. The reason? An endangered fish has supposedly been getting caught in the water pipes.

People's livelihood and access to the necessity of life, water, now is apparently less important than a fish. Honestly it's insane to me that they even considered this as a solution.

Well, it sure is painful to have to listen to SH - even when he is correct.

My two thoughts ... consider that our current administration looks to soviet Russia as a role model. Consider that they think the world has too many people. The Soviets created an artificial famine in the Ukraine killing as many as 10 million people (http://www.infoukes.com/history/famine/). Cutting somebody's access to water is as good a way to kill people as cutting access to their grain.

I'm not sure how local their pumps are ... but they need to find a sheriff at the location of the pumps that will take over the situation, turn them on, and stand up to the over-reaching federal government.

Agreed its time they assert their state powers like they did on Marijuana. I dare the Federal Government to challenge them on this. This could very well start a revolution by itself.. and of all places.. California? Wow.
