Ron mentioned that he was surprised to see so many gun carriers in NH back in the campaign days. Apparently, more people carry up here (per capita) than down in the Lone Star state. I was just a a gun shop yesterday and it was packed with people, virtually all were carrying openly. The local sheriff was even present hanging out with the owner who's a Ron Paul guy. The sheriff didn't even bat an eye as people were mulling about while armed. That's the lifestyle we live up here in NH, it's different from anywhere else. The residents are very gun friendly as well and none have ever been alarmed by me carrying enough to call the police. If you want to live in a state like NH, join us in the Free State Project. The main county GOP parties are all packed with RP type folks and we have many big races coming in 2010 that will clean the house from the democratic scourge that was perpetrated on us from the Bushes. Plus, midterm elections always have less voters, so only the passionate show up. Even in 2008 when the democrats swept most state races across the country, we grabbed back 17 GOP seats in the state house. We have a major libertarian-GOP caucus in the house right now (~35% of the house). Most other states can't make that claim. The fun is just beginning, come join us. My #2 sig line.

It's true folks. People carry guns in NH, open and concealed. Heck, there are even open carry litter pickups. Some of the pickups are organized by people that moved to NH as part of the Free State Project, and some don't even have any free staters involved.

Dr. Paul was right, while there is a small amount of gun freedom in Texas, there is some serious gun freedom in New Hampshire. We don't play around with that crap. NH is truly different than the rest of the nation.
